Now one of the world’s top websites for climate information, MIT Climate Portal attracts over one million unique users a year with nonpartisan, easy-to-understand answers developed in collaboration with MIT faculty and researchers. Its flagship content includes a large and growing library of short-form Explainers, and the Ask MIT Climate series that answers reader questions from around the world.

The Climate Portal is a free forum for learning open to all comers, as well as a venue for the Institute to spread the word about its own climate activities. Visitors can keep up with the latest on MIT’s Plan for Action on Climate Change, or engage with community content to help foster a wider understanding of climate science and solutions.
